We believe that all software systems students should belong to a supportive and engaging community,
and that every students opinions on their program should be heard.
We accomplish this belief through focused, organized events, broad and sincere outreach, and always having a great time together.
This is how our team of 15 Execs, along with our student body of 200+ students, host one of BC's largest independent beginner oriented hackathons, petitions and delegates student concerns to faculty and administration, and participates daily in a variety of events and affairs at SFU.
We are the Software Systems Student Society, also known as the SSSS.
This student society represents the interests and welfare of its members in the
Software Systems Program at Simon Fraser University, Surrey, Canada.
As set out by our constitution, we are tasked with bringing the needs and concerns of Software Systems Students to Professors, the Simon Fraser Student Society, Faculty of Applied Science, and University. We organize acivities to empower the education, socialization, and professional development of our students and beyond, to foster life skills, friendships, and happiness.
